Central Coast Brewing Coffee Shop and Cafe

The rain stopped and the clouds parted and we found ourselves at what used to be Outspoken and is now part of Central Coast Brewing for a cup of coffee this morning. It is located adjacent to Cambria Bicycle Outfitter at 1422 Monterey Street in SLO.  Although at this time there doesn't seem to be a posted coffee menu, we got the feeling that the very nice barista could make just about any blended coffee drink you might desire.  Sheila, of course, had a regular black cup of coffee, the 12 ounce size, which was $2.16 with tax.  It was smooth, robust, and rich.  Joan had a 12 ounce latte with almond milk and light vanilla syrup.  She asked for half coffee and half almond milk and was pleased with the results, describing it as milky, foamy, and smooth.  It was $4.30 with tax.  This place is for the bike or beer lover who also likes coffee!  They also have some goodies as well as snacks and sandwiches.  The coffee is from Jobella's in Atascadero.  There is indoor and outdoor seating and ample parking.  They open at 7:30 A.M. for that morning cup of coffee.
